Spots to Watch the Super Bowl in Seattle

Posted by Sunny Wu

Super Bowl is fast approaching. Here are a few suggestions for Seattleites who are looking for a bar to watch the game.

Auto Battery Bar, Capitol Hill — The place to watch sports on Capitol Hill. Load up on some tasty dogs from Po Dogs ($5 special all month!) for nourishment. Check out our review.

Montlake Alehouse, Montlake — Family friendly joint. Play area for the kids. Rainier and whiskey for dad. Check out our review.

The Ram at University Village, U District– Big screen, check. Beer, check. Food, check. Co-eds, check.

The Spectator, Queen Anne — We’ve only been there once, seems like a decent option on Queen Anne. Review forthcoming.

Sport Restaurant & Bar, Belltown / Lower Queen Anne — Admittedly, we’ve never been here, only walked or driven past it. But they have TVs at every table. So there should be no issue finding a good view of the game. Review forthcoming.

Sun-Ya, International District — Want a totally unique experience on Super Bowl Sunday? Head to Sun-Ya’s bar — yes, the dark, shady room to the right of the main restaurant — to watch the game surrounded by Chinatown’s finest. They’ve got a big screen — don’t think it’s HD — and dim sum. Dim sum on Super Bowl Sunday? Give me sum!

The question is, where are we watching the game after hoops. I may end up on my couch, napping. OLD.
