I think my greatest achievement attending Texans training camp earlier this year was getting to meet offensive tackle Duane Brown. I had followed him for some time on Twitter mostly because of our common ties to my home state of Virginia.
Brown, originally from Richmond, played football at Virginia Tech. Sharing that hometown feeling and pride, we instantly bonded over Twitter and he’s granted me a few interviews throughout the course of this groundbreaking season as the team heads to the playoffs — a first for the Texans franchise and him personally.
Check out Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch’s special Skittles cleats from Nike. Lynch wore them Saturday against the Niners. He was the first running back this season to score a rushing TD and run for over 100 yards against San Francisco. The Seahawks, however, lost a heartbreaker. You could say the game was bittersweet.

On Tuesday, the Miami Dolphins hosted their annual turkey giveaway at Sun-Life Stadium. Players and coaches donated money, and with the help of Publix, were able to give away over 1000 Thanksgiving meals to families in need. Pro Bowlers Jake Long and Brandon Marshall, along with several other players and their wives, took part in the event, which was in support of Feeding South Florida.
